Safety Guidelines
Safety is your responsibility! The ownership of this machine places upon you the total responsibility of its safe operation. You must observe the same safety precautions as you would with any piece of equipment to ensure the safety of not only yourself but everyone around you.
- Ensure the machine is securely positioned on a sturdy work surface before operation.
- Do not operate the machine with removed parts, as this may cause damage or injury.
- Always keep hands clear of die mold blades and the cutting board area.
- Always wear appropriate safety gear.
- Disconnect power before maintenance or adjustments.

Please be cautious of the bearings that help guide the die and material through. When the cutting is complete and the die is released from the roller, the bearings will continue to roll the die. An extended-cutting bed is available for die projects longer than 19 inches.
Machine Operation
The machine has an on/off switch as well as a directional pad. The direction you press on the pad determines the way the die will roll.
Operation Instructions
This press is strictly for steel rule dies on a wood or plastic base. A standard 110V outlet is required. A normal tabletop will do as this machine weighs about 180 lbs. The machine has an on/off switch as well as a directional pad. The direction you press toward on the pad is the way the die will roll.
Cutting Process
- Preparing the Die and Material:
- Place the die (blades up) on the black tray.
- Position your material on top of the die blades.
- Set the cutting board on top of the material.
- Ensure that the end of the cutting board is slightly tucked under the top roller and that the die is fully sandwiched between the tray and the cutting board.
- Operating the Machine:
- Push onto the tray slightly to guide everything into position.
- Press the directional button to activate the die-cutting process.
- Release the button when the cutting board is fully released from under the roller.
- Adjusting Cutting Depth:
- If the material does not fully cut, adjust the top roller knobs to apply more pressure.
- Each click adjusts .0045/1000ths of an inch; one full turn equals 1/16th of an inch.
- Turn clockwise to lower the top roller and increase cutting depth.
- Adjust in small increments (1-2 clicks at a time) before testing the material again.
- You may not need to adjust both sides simultaneously—start with minor adjustments and refine as needed.
Each click on the dials adjusts .0045/1000ths of an inch; one full turn equals 1/16th of an inch. Turn clockwise to lower the top roller for a deeper cut. Try not to go more than 2 clicks at a time before testing the material and making further adjustments.
Note: You may not need to adjust both sides simultaneously. Start with 1-2 clicks per knob, adjust both initially, and refine as needed. The machine has an on/off switch as well as a directional pad. The direction you press on the pad determines the way the die will roll.
