Dies & Custom Dies
A clicker die is solid metal, 1.25" tall, and lets material feed up through the die so you can cut multiple layers at once.
A steel rule die is a bent steel blade set into a wood or plastic base, 0.937" tall, with ejection foam to push the cut part back out.
Use clicker dies for thicker, heavier material like leather and for high-volume production.
Use steel rule dies for thinner material like plastic, fabric, and printed stock, and for anything requiring food-grade compliance.
Clicker dies work with the 7 Ton and 15 Ton Clickers.
Steel rule dies work with the 7 Ton Clicker, the 15 Ton Clicker, and the Roller Press.
Yes. Tippmann manufactures custom clicker dies to your design for use in its presses.
There are four steps:
- Send your design as a PDF, or by physical mail.
- Receive a quote by email.
- Finalize the design details for your approval.
- Your die goes into production with an estimated lead time.
