Years ago, good friend of mine, purchased a boss hand stitcher. Which was posted to me. I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful machine it is. I have been hand stitching my knife sheaths for many years, but my custom knife business has grown quite big now and I was struggling to keep up with the leather work. It has really changed that part of my business. I'm sure it is going to serve me well for many years as it is so well made. What a quality product!
I have owned my stitcher for about 7 years, used it extensively with great success, and would be lost without it. With that being said, I recently incurred a problem that required that I send it back to Tippmann for repair. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with their customer service! It was returned much quicker than I expected and it was sent back "show room new" working perfectly. Thank you for everything and I look forward to many more years of service.
Have been doing leatherwork for 49 years....this is the best tool yet! Great for holsters, tack, etc.
Hi Jim, Just wanted to let ya know I got the springs this morning and I installed one. The machine works great again, I must have been having issues with that spring for several years....all the little weird things that would normally happen while sewing went away :) I stitched through 10 items just now with out a hickup, it ran so smooth it is amazing! Thanks again for your help. Best regards, David
I purchased the Boss at Tandy's with my elite membership(this gives you a nice discount). I make dog collars and frequently sew through two layers of 8-9 oz leather. My hands are getting weaker and I needed a sewing machine to be able to continue to do leather craft. Tippman Boss is impressive, solid and a true time saver. I am thankful to be able to continue to do what I love!
